I’m still working on the next update it’s taking a bit longer than the last one as I’m trying to get back into the groove. But while I’ve got your attention, I want to talk a bit about the direction the game is heading. If it’s not already clear, my game carries a very dark undertone, and that’s intentional. It’s going to stay that way. Some of the sex scenes are meant to feel unsettling, uncomfortable, and emotionally heavy. For example, the scene where Oridelle was naked and alone in the empty room that wasn’t just meant to be erotic. That was a deeply depressing moment for her character, when she starts realizing she’s falling in love with something monstrous. This game is meant to explore those moments. Not with gore or extreme violence, but with emotional weight. I want players to feel something. Sometimes it’ll be sadness. Sometimes guilt. Sometimes arousal mixed with discomfort. Maybe some of you will feel bad for Oridelle. Maybe others won’t and that’s okay. But the story is hers, and from her perspective, it’s a tragic one: doing darker and more degrading things just for a chance at love and meaning. That said, yes there’s a new oral scene in this update that’s very brutal. It’s not finished yet, but I’ll admit, even I feel bad while working on it. And I think that’s a good sign. The scene is intense, but it’s important for the emotional arc. It’s not just about shock value it’s about showing how far Oridelle’s willing to go to be seen, loved, and valued. Even if it breaks her down.

Now, on a different note I want to talk about sound effects.

I love adding sound to the game. I think sound design is hugely important in porn VNs, and I’ve spent a lot of time picking the right ones. That said, I’m trying to avoid making them feel repetitive. For example, I really love the gagging sound effect but I know not everyone does. I’m definitely keeping it, but I’m aware of how often it’s used. I even introduce a new sound in this update and probably overuse it a bit but I think it adds something valuable to the scene.

If any of you know of good sources for high quality blowjob or dick sucking sounds, please let me know. I’ve searched a lot of places and always end up going back to the same one I’ve used before. Since oral is such a big part of the game, I don’t want that aspect to feel stale.

To sum it all up: The next update’s coming just taking a bit of time. The game is dark, and it’s meant to be. Scenes will feel brutal, sad, and intense, especially from Oridelle’s perspective. That’s intentional. I care about her as a character, and you’re supposed to as well (unless you’re just here for the full bimbo fantasy which is valid too!). I’m also focusing on improving sound design, and always open to suggestions there.
